The Brotherhood / La Hermandad

Gear Up Foundation was born from the brotherhood and efforts of all those who served at Ground Zero . As a living tribute to those who died and continue to die, we bring people and nations together inspired by the brotherhood and dedication of firefighters. It is our goal to generate healing through this extraordinary brotherhood as our mission reaches out as a tribute to this gallantry. After years of serving those in need, we face a very different set of challenges and questions. Our mission has evolved to acknowledge and properly thank first responders who are ill as a result of their exposure to the toxic environment of Ground Zero. We proudly accept our position as Ambassadors of Goodwill reaching out with a positive message of love and caring after such a tragic event.

Como un tributo a quienes fallecieron y los rescatistas del 9/11 que continuan falleciendo, inspirados por esa hermandad y dedicacion de los bomberos. Es nuestra meta la de generar sanacion a traves de la hermandad que se crea con nuestros programas y acciones galantes. Despues de años de servir a aquellos hermanos en necesidad, ahora enfrentamos un diferente reto, que envuelve el reconocimiento y gracias apropiadas a los rescatistas que estan enfermos como resultado de su exposicion a los toxicos de la Zona Cero en esos dias del ataque. Aceptamos nuestra posicion de embajadores de buena voluntad nacida del amor despues de tan tragico evento, el de Septiembre 11 del 2001

To honor those who perished, served and were affected by the events of September 11th 2001 by promoting international brotherhood and goodwill, providing equipment, education and hope to firefighters and children in need worldwide. Bringing our world closer together as "Ambassadors of Goodwill" exemplified by the passion, bravery and brotherhood of firefighters representing all that is good about those who answer the call....
